Privacy Notice
Here you can read what Nursing Home Violations finds out about you, the reasons, and the steps you can take.
Who Is Responsible?
Nursing Home Violations is run by Fairmont Records Inc., 1201 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 2000, Atlanta, GA 30361, United States. That company has responsibility for the information described here.
What Gets Collected
Simply reading the site creates only ordinary server logs: the time, the page asked for, your browser's user agent, and the IP address. These logs keep the site working and help count visits.
Whatever you type into the message form is collected: the nursing home, what happened, your name, phone number, and email. We store the consent text exactly as displayed next to the button, with the time, your IP address, and the user agent from your browser.
When you phone the site's number, the conversation is recorded, and a log keeps both the number you call from and the time of the call.
Health Information
Any health details you share about a resident are protected as if federal health privacy rules applied. Only the details a lawyer needs to phone you back concerning the home are requested. They are stored in encrypted form, and they never appear in any web address or in visit counts.
Who Receives Your Information?
Both your message and your call are sent to a law firm. That firm advertises on this site. It is also processed on our behalf by the hosting and storage providers that keep the site running. It is not sold to data brokers, nor is it used for unrelated marketing.
Tracking and Cookies
This site loads no analytics services, advertising tags, or third-party scripts and sets no cookies, so you will not see a cookie banner.
The Rights You Have
You may see the personal information kept about you, have it fixed or erased, and stop its sale or sharing. These rights come from state privacy laws for people living in California (CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Texas, and every visitor uses the same request process.
Email your request to office@nursinghomeviolations.org. An answer will come back to you within the time allowed by your state's law. Using any of these rights will not lead to different treatment.
If you want to opt out of having your information sold or shared, see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
Attorney Advertising
This site is Attorney Advertising. It is not a law firm, and sending information does not create an attorney–client relationship.
